Members event

date & time & location

4/11/2022 14:00-16:00 EET Hotel U14

Join CFA Society Finland for an interesting Friday afternoon where we will discuss activist investing in the Nordics. The event will be featured by two guests: Niko Pakalén, Partner at Cevian Capital and Kai Tavakka, CFA, Managing Director at Accendo Capital.

Activist investors often acquire significant minorship positions in listed companies and aim to add shareholder value through active ownership, hence having some similarities to private equity due to their true owner mentality. Activist investing has a lot of interesting perspectives when it comes to managing often concentrated portfolios, which we will be covering during the event.

The session will start with presentations from both guests, followed by a panel discussion / Q&A on timely topics around activist investing.
