Richard Fernand is General Manager, Certificates, CFA Institute, responsible for the portfolio of new certificate learning products. He has a background in investment education, having spent 6 years at PIMCO in Learning & Development responsible for global investment education. Prior to that he spent 10 years at 7city Learning (now Fitch Learning) where he taught preparatory courses for all 3 levels of the CFA Program and was Head of Business School. Before moving into investment education he gained experience in consultancy and M&A. He is a CFA Charterholder and Chartered Accountant and has a degree in law from Oxford University.

Brian Pisaneschi, CFA

Senior Investment Data Scientist

Brian Pisaneschi, CFA, is a Senior Investment Data Scientist at CFA Institute. His research focus has centered around applying Natural Language Processing to the investment analyst workflow, with a particular interest on sustainability. He holds an MS in quantitative finance from the University of Bologna and a BS in finance and economics from Lake Superior State University. He obtained his CFA charter in 2017.
