Members and non-members event

date & time

18/03/2021 3.00-4.00 pm EET

In this one hour-webinar co-hosted by CFA Institute and CFA Society Spain and in association with SASB's FSA Western Europe Club, it is concentrated on how SASB Standards enable businesses to identify and manage financially material sustainability issues. Join us to explore an example of a company that adopted these Standards and how investors use these disclosures.

Tomás Gallego and Elena García of Red Eléctrica, the first Spanish company to publish a sustainability report meeting SASB accounting standards, will share how these standards guided them in identifying and disclosing financially material sustainability factors in their reporting.

Meanwhile, Ole Buhl, Head of ESG and Senior Vice President at ATP will share his thoughts on how these disclosures are a game changer for ESG investing and why ATP decided to join SASB’s Investor Advisory Group.

Matt Orsagh, senior director of capital markets policy at CFA Institute and author of the report “Climate Change Analysis in the Investment Process,” will shed light on how SASB and CFA Institute can work together in enabling investors and financial professionals to adequately incorporate ESG factors and climate analysis into their investment process.
