In addition to clean energy, increasing energy efficiency and developing energy storage capacity are vital in achieving the climate goals of the Paris Agreement. The International Energy Agency (IEA) indicates that energy efficiency improvement will drive more than 40% of the reduction of energy-related GHG emissions over the next 20 years. Addressing energy efficiency issues in real estate and energy-intensive industries is important in order to decarbonize. We have invited 3 experts in the fields of energy efficiency, energy transition and energy storage to discuss their views on the topics and what opportunities they see in the field.
