CFA Society Finland is happy to invite Society members to a wine tasting event hosted by Jane Street with a new date on 13th March 2024.

At the beginning of the evening we will hear a presentation from Jane Street on modernisation of the bond market, including bond market liquidity, electrification, evolution of FI ETFs, portfolio trading and other developments. Q&A session will follow the presentation. 

Afterwards we will continue with a flavorful wine tasting event with some delicious snacks.   

 

 

SPEAKERS

Dan Philip is a member of Jane Street's Institutional Sales & Trading team. In this role, Dan focuses on distribution as well as sales and trading for fixed income products across EMEA. In particular, he works with partners in the industry to develop the firm's ETF and bond trading franchises across the region.

Prior to joining Jane Street in 2018, Dan led the iShares Fixed Income distribution team at BlackRock UK, interacting across the full range of BlackRock's Institutional and Retail client base. He also spent over 7 years at Barclays Capital in derivatives and solutions sales, where he covered corporate and institutional investor clients across a range of asset classes.

Dan holds a degree in Economics from the University of Sheffield. Before university he spent time as an Infantry Officer in the British Army leading British and French troops in the UK, Germany, and Kosovo.

 

Cyrille Verbeeten is a member of Jane Street's Institutional Sales and Trading team. In this role Cyrille partners with institutional clients to provide trading solutions and access Jane Street's differentiated liquidity, with a particular focus on the Netherlands and the Nordics.

Prior to joining Jane Street in 2021, Cyrille spent 7 years at BlackRock. She began in BlackRock's iShares ETF business covering Dutch institutional clients. Later she moved to the Transition Management team in London where she was responsible for developing transition strategies for Dutch and Nordic institutional investors undergoing portfolio changes, which spanned various asset classes and were often driven by ESG strategy implementation. Before BlackRock, Cyrille spent almost 6 years at ING Equity Capital Markets focusing on the execution of European equity transactions.

Cyrille holds cum laude Master's Degrees in Finance and Law from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam.
