CFA Institute offers a sequel to the popular oil webinar

 

With the recent success of the “Volatility in Oil Markets” webinar, and due to popular demand, CFA Institute is hosting another webinar entitled “Oil Markets and Geopolitics after COVID-19” on Monday 20th of July at 17:00 EET.

William Tohme, CFA, Senior Regional Head, MENA at CFA Institute will moderate the conversation between Dr. Carole Nakhle, CEO of Crystol Energy and Karen E. Young, resident scholar at American Enterprise Institute (AEI).


The session will cover the assessment of global oil and economic challenges facing MENA oil exporters in addition to the ripple effects for FDI and capital flows.

Dr. Carole Nakhle is the founder and chief executive officer of Crystol Energy, an advisory, research, and training firm. Dr. Nakhle has worked on energy projects in over 45 countries, has taken exploratory trips to the Arctic and the North Sea.

Karen E. Young is a resident scholar at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), where she studies the political economy of the Middle East, with a special focus on the states of the Gulf Cooperation Council. She is a professorial lecturer at George Washington University.
