Jane Street hosted an event on modernization of the bond market

CFA Society Finland was happy to invite members to a Jane Street hosted wonderful evening event on 13th March featuring a wine tasting at Grape Wine Bar, Helsinki. We were happy to welcome Cyrille Verbeeten and Dan Philip from the Jane Street Institutional Sales & Trading team to visit our Society. They gave an introduction to Jane Street and an interesting presentation on ETF’s, bond markets and its electrification, as well as portfolio trading and other developments ad trends in the field. The topic raised a lot of interest form our participants and time proved short as the discussion could have gone a lot longer.

Afterwards the evening’s participants got to taste some exotic wine varieties and learned a great deal of new things on the wine culture of the world. Much thanks to sommelier Pilvi Auvinen. Thank you also to our board member Roope Relander, CFA, for hosting the event on behalf of the Society.
