The winner of the CFA Research Challenge Finland 2018-19 is Turku School of Economics at the University of Turku! Today CFA Society Finland hosted the CFA Research Challenge local finals at Hotel Kämp. The event is special for us as it is of utmost importance for CFA Society Finland to promote high standards in equity research for students! Six universities started the competition by writing an investment report about Cargotec. Based on written report results, best teams were invited to the final. In the final, teams from Aalto University, LUT University and Turku School of Economics at the University of Turku presented their analysis. According to final event judges, Jutta Rahikainen (SEB), Hanna-Maria Heikkinen (Cargotec) and Harri Taittonen (Nordea), all presentations were of high-quality. However, Team Turku were dominant in their presentation performance, receiving ~95% of maximum points from the judges. Team Turku consists of Antti Koskivuo, Miika Vähä-Kreula, Kaisa Olli and Taneli Aho along with their Industry Mentor Onni Hautala, CFA. We would like to thank our volunteers (graders, mentors, judges), our sponsor Refinitiv and our subject company Cargotec! Join us in congratulating Team Turku and wishing them luck for the EMEA Finals in Zürich!
