The upcoming annual Financial Regulatory Symposium is a CFA Institute event dedicated to discussing major policy and regulatory developments that affect the global finance and investment industry. This is the third time this symposium is organized.

The aim is to analyze issues which emerged or strengthened during the previous year through the lens of business conduct and professionalism, which together constitute the stalwart of CFA Institute’s mission.

This free event will gather high-level global regulators and policymakers to dive deeply into the most urgent issues facing financial markets and investors today, including

  • Gamification practices

  • Business conduct towards retail investors

  • Inducements and mis-selling practices

  • Trust in the use of technology and digital platforms

  • Retail markets conduct

Speaker include Martin Moloney (I0SCO), Paul P. Andrews (CFA Institute), Pedro Barroso, Emily Shepperd (FCA), and Josina Kamerling (CFA Institute).
