Fidelity International is participating in the Climate Investment Summit 2021, and would like to extend an invitation to CFA Society Finland members to the virtual conference streamed from Copenhagen 7-8 September. The summit will gather speakers from leading banks, insurance companies, government representatives, institutional investors, International organizations and developers.

The Summit is hosted by the Climate Investment Coalition, an international public-private initiative established by the Danish Ministry of Climate, Energy & Utilities, Insurance & Pension Denmark, the Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change (IIGCC), and World Climate Foundation. The Climate Investment Coalition is a public-private sector initiative mobilizing commitments for green investments by 2030 to support achieving the goals of the Paris Agreement and a net-zero transition.

The Climate Investment Summit is a key milestone on the Climate Investment Coalition’s investment roadmap to COP26 in Glasgow.

The Climate Investment Summit will serve as a key platform for announcements on financing and investing in immediate global climate solutions. It will take as a starting point the successes achieved locally and internationally, in climate investments and global public-private partnerships to present proven best practice business and finance strategies in climate finance.
