Annual Membership Survey: Results and the Lucky Winner!

CFA Society Finland has carried out its annual membership survey. This questionnaire functions as an important indicator for the Society Board in how we can bring value and serve our members the best. This is why it is important that you take part in the survey also next year!

We are happy to inform that the feedback continues to be positive and members are generally happy with how the Finnish Society is functioning.

In addition to organizing the CFA exams, the following points are considered to be among the society’s core mission:

1) Promoting the CFA Charter locally

2) Holding educational events

3) Promoting the values of the CFA Institute locally

HR stakeholders were considered to be the most important group as to who the CFA Charter should be promoted to, followed by advocacy work towards universities. Promoting the essential CFA values such as ethics was regarded to be of high importance.

Forecast Dinner is seen to be the most valued event of the year. Hard skills -workshops are among the most hoped for. Suitably enough hard skill -workshops have been central in the Board’s agenda this year. Requested topics for workshops were aspects on different asset classes, for example private equity and ESG.

As a result we plan to increase the number of hard skills and asset class specific events in the coming year. Forecast dinner will continue in its slightly modified form.

As the Society has been developing routines and features for the new webpage, the Board is eager to find out how members are experiencing it as well as the social media and communication practices in general. LinkedIn continues to be the preferred and popular channel for informing about current events and topical news, although traditional member letters are still considered to be the most effective way in getting news to members.

A raffle was carried out among the survey participants and the lucky winner was chosen. Congratulations Heikki Nakari! A gift card to BasBas is coming your way. A big thank you to everyone who participated!
