Technology is revolutionising banking. Constantly evolving global investment industry demands finance professionals to keep pace with investment products, investor priorities, and best practices. It is always a good idea to keep your professional know-how in check and stay current with the CFA program.

Continuous Professional Development (CPD) is a major focus on CFA Institute’s agenda and the Institute promotes professional learning by providing resources and encouraging members to collect CE-credits each year. Thus, it is recommended that members complete a minimum of 20 hours of CE-credit activities, with a minimum of 2 hours in the topics of Standards, Ethics, and Regulations (SER) each calendar year. There are a number of ways to earn these credits, but they should be educational in nature and geared towards increasing the knowledge, skills, and abilities of an investment professional.

You can find a vast amount of interesting topics to read about, for example in the areas of machine learning and big data. Please take this opportunity to educate yourself through different scientific approaches and earn some CE-credits at the same time. Also, a good way to earn CE-credits, is to partake in CFA Society Finland’s educational events!
