Society celebrated Christmas and new Charterholders

CFA Society Finland held a very traditional and wonderful Christmas Dinner on the evening of 4th December at Restaurant Sipuli in Helsinki. We were happy to welcome around 30 members to the event to enjoy some networking, dinner featuring an interesting presentation as well as awarding the new charterholders from the August exam round.

We were joined by Timo Pohjanpalo, Co-Founder and CFO from Hyperco, who presented the audience on data center investments. The topical discussion covered the many facets of these real estate investments and possibilities, especially considering the role of Nordic countries being a rather attractive location for these developments, and the growing need for data capacity due to cloud adoption as well as AI.

We were happy to celebrate also the new charterholders in our Society, congratulations, Vesa Ahoniemi CFA, Oskari Eklund CFA, Tapio Koivu CFA, and Ville Mäkäläinen, CFA! Welcome to CFA Society Finland!

CFA Society Finland also organized a Christmas Dinner in Tallinn on the 5h of December. This was the fifth time for this annual dinner, this year at Lee Restaurant.
