University of Turku team at EMEA Final of CFA Research Challenge

The winners of this year's CFA Research Challenge Finland, Turku School of Economics at the University of Turku, did a fine job at EMEA Regional leg of CFA Research Challenge in Zürich. Despite of not qualifying for the Global Finals, they enjoyed their time and gained invaluable experience.

Here's what Team Turku thought of their journey in the CFA Research Challenge 2018-19: "The CFA Research Challenge has been such an intense yet very educational experience for all of us. The level of competition in the EMEA Regional was high and after seeing teams HEC Lausanne and Moscow State University present their analysis on the final stage, we are confident to say that the right teams out of 43 made their way to the Global Finals. Overall, the EMEA Regional event arrangements were top-notch and offered us a great opportunity for networking with other students and industry professionals. Even though we didn’t make it to the Global Finals, we are glad that we decided to participate in the competition as we have gained invaluable experience of equity research and teamwork. All in all, we really enjoyed our time in sunny Zürich and encourage other students to take part in the competition!"
