University of Turku wins the CFA Research Challenge Finland 2017

The 2017 CFA Research Challenge Finland competition was held today and we heard 5 interesting presentations on Nokia from the students of Aalto University, Hanken, Lappeenranta University of Technology, University of Oulu  and University of Turku. Their written work was reviewed by CFA charterholders and their presentations were assessed by three judges: Ted Roberts (Nordea), Mika Heikkinen (Mandatum Life) and Heikki Kinnunen (Ilmarinen).

After everything was said and done, I'm happy to announce that the king of the hill this year in Finland is University of Turku! Aalto University and Lappeenranta were the first and second runner up respectively. University of Turku will now continue to the EMEA regional final in Prague.

Thank you to all the students and university personnel involved, the judges and graders and other volunteers. Best of luck to University of Turku to the next stage!
