Women in Valuation Scholarship available again!
The Women in Valuation scholarship aims to help women master company valuation and enter the workforce at higher levels of responsibility and pay. Women in Valuation scholarships are awarded to recipients worldwide and generally only through CFA Societies that choose to participate.
The Women in Valuation scholarship allows the recipient to attend the 6-week Valuation Master Class Boot Camp, which starts on March 7th, 2022, for USD 99 instead of USD 1,199.
The scholarship recipient must demonstrate foundational knowledge of finance and a desire to build a career in finance. Applicants must make it through our challenging application process, where we evaluate their ability to follow instructions, tech-savviness, presentation skills, and creativity. In addition, we assess the applicant’s passion and energy and whether we think they can perform in challenging circumstances and under pressure.

In the Boot Camp, a steady pace of work is maintained by releasing course content weekly. Students also attend regular live lectures and Q&A sessions with Dr. Stotz and his team.
Each student is assigned a team and must participate in weekly team meetings. Each student selects one company to forecast and value as their final project. Our team guides them through their research and the report writing and presentation process.
Students must complete a high-quality forecast and valuation, a written report, and make an excellent presentation to Dr. Stotz and the team. This gives students a valuable tangible outcome from the Boot Camp – A superb written report and a video presenting t.

Dr. Andrew Stotz, CFA

In 1992, Dr. Stotz left a management career at Pepsi-Cola in California to teach finance in Thailand and has not stopped teaching since. In 1993, he found his life calling as a financial analyst, a job for which he was eventually voted #1 in Thailand.
During his investment banking career, Dr. Stotz was a head of research leading teams of financial analysts. He served as a two-term president of CFA Society Thailand and now runs his firm, A. Stotz Investment Research, which provides research and tools for institutions and high-net-worth
investors.
Dr. Stotz holds a Bachelor of Science in finance and an MBA from California State University and earned his Ph.D. in finance at the University of Science and Technology of China.
