Research Challenge local finalists chosen

This year we had ten University teams turning in written reports for the Research Challenge local leg of the competition. The target company is Huhtamäki.

Our volunteer graders have now graded all the reports and the final results are in. Each written report has been carefully evaluated by three separate graders. Due to the tight competition we are inviting top-4 teams to the Final Event.

The following four teams (in alphabetical order) are invited to give presentation at the Final Event:

• Aalto University

• Lappeenranta University of Technology

• Tallinn University of Technology, Team 1

• University of Vaasa, Team 2

The winning team, participating to the Nordic Sub-regional in March 2021, will be decided in the Virtual Local Final on 18 February, 2021.

In the Final Event each team is given 10 minutes to present their findings to a panel of judges. The presentation is followed by another 10 minutes Q&A session during which judges pose questions to the teams.
